The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's shift towards sustainability and environmental preservation through the Saudi Green Initiative.

The Saudi Green Initiative seeks to achieve sustainability goals in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through:

  Supervising and unifying all the Kingdom’s efforts to combat climate change under one roof according to specific goals  

 

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia united the efforts of the public and private sectors to identify and support opportunities for cooperation and innovation

 

 Promoting the green economy - they launched more than 80 initiatives that represent an important investment

 

 Accelerating the green transition and global leadership in applying the circular carbon economy model

 

 Raising the quality of life and protecting the environment for future generations

 

The Kingdom is also working to protect biodiversity and reduce emissions. New nature reserves were created, The Kingdom seeks to cultivate $10 billion and rehabilitate approximately 40 million hectares of degraded lands.
