Environmental awareness campaigns to raise awareness of environmental issues through the Saudi Green Initiative

 

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia organized a series of awareness activities and events over the course of a whole month, which is the month of June

 

 1- World Coral Reef Environment Day June 1 

 2- World Environment Day, June 5 

 3- World Oceans Day June 8 

 4- International Day of Sea Turtles June 16

5- World Day to Combat Desertification and Drought June 17 

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia also hosted events, workshops, and seminars focussing on environmental issues and solutions, cooperated with international organizations, participated in global environmental initiatives, launched initiatives to reduce plastic waste, and promoted recycling and waste management practices.
