  Supervising and unifying all the Kingdom’s efforts to combat climate change under one roof according to specific goals  

 

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia united the efforts of the public and private sectors to identify and support opportunities for cooperation and innovation

 

 Promoting the green economy - they launched more than 80 initiatives that represent an important investment

 

 Accelerating the green transition and global leadership in applying the circular carbon economy model

 

 Raising the quality of life and protecting the environment for future generations

 

The Kingdom is also working to protect biodiversity and reduce emissions. Vision 2030 is an ambitious strategic plan launched by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in 2016 that aims to achieve sustainable development in various fields. The vision is based on three main

important of which are:

Vision 2030 includes many strategic steps to achieve sustainable 

development, including:

Investing in human capital means developing education and skills and enhancing women’s participation in the workforce. Diversifying the economy: by supporting non-oil sectors, such as tourism and renewable energy. Improving infrastructure: through developing transportation, energy, and water systems. Environmental protection: by combating climate change and preserving natural resources

 1- World Coral Reef Environment Day June 1 

 2- World Environment Day, June 5 

 3- World Oceans Day June 8 

 4- International Day of Sea Turtles June 16

5- World Day to Combat Desertification and Drought June 17 

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia also hosted events, workshops, and seminars focussing on environmental issues and solutions, cooperated with international organizations, participated in global environmental initiatives, launched initiatives to reduce plastic waste, and promoted recycling and waste management practices.
